Know Before You Go
How can I stay up-to-date on coming events?
Be the first to know about new shows by signing up for our newsletter – The Waterfront Times You can view our full events calendar here. You can also follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
How can I purchase tickets to your shows?
Tickets may be purchased in advance of a show on waterfronthall.com. On the night of shows, we sell tickets (cash only) at the door. (We do have an ATM available.) Sometimes presale tickets are cheaper, and when purchasing tickets at the door, there is no guarantee that the show will not have sold out – so we always recommend purchasing tickets online beforehand! We do NOT have a live box office or sell paper tickets.
What can I bring to the event?
All outside food, drink, backpacks, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
Will there be food available?
Within our building are housed two exceptional restaurants, Avenue Eats and the Woodfire Pizza Co. Both establishments close at 9pm so if you would like dinner before the show, we encourage you to arrive early.
Are your shows seated?
Our music venue has flexible seating arrangements that vary by performance. Some events are fully seated with rows up front and tables behind, some are standing room only, and some have both standing and seating options. Most frequently, all tickets sold are General Admission standing room only, with some seating available on the outskirts of the room which is first come, first serve. Certain shows, such as blues shows, are sold by seat; so in that case, you would purchase a ticket with an assigned seat attached.
If you require a seat for a show that is general admission, please do not hesitate in contacting our establishment at live@waterfronthall.com; we would be happy to provide arrangements in circumstances that allow for such.
Is Waterfront Hall ADA accessible?
There is an ADA entrance on the right side of our building, which faces WesBanco Arena. You will be able to access all levels and areas of the building (including the third floor space) from this entrance.
Where can I park?
Good question! Depending on the day, time, and what may be happening in the city, parking space varies. The safe bet is always the Intermodal Parking Garage, located on the corner of 14th and Main Street – Its about a 100 yard walk.
You may be able to find a spot on Water Street in front of our building. Some parking lot space may be available on either side of the building, but those lots are not owned by Waterfront Hall.
Are there age restrictions?
Most evening shows that start at 9pm are 18+. Some events that start earlier in the day are all ages. See specific event details.
Can I get a refund?
We do not generally offer refunds, but in extenuating circumstances, please contact us and we will see what we can do!
Where can I smoke?
Our building has a very strict NO VAPING, NO SMOKING policy. If caught vaping, you will be asked to leave. This is a serious matter; we have sensitive smoke alarms and do not need Wheeling Fire Department wasting their time because someone wanted to hit their vape.
We ask that all guests smoke across Water Street on the sidewalk to maintain the assured clear distance mandated by the Wheeling Fire Department. Enjoy the view of the river and the city as you smoke!
Is there a lost and found?
Yes – please contact us at management@waterfronthall.com if you think you have lost something at Waterfront Hall.
